A very sad day. Due to the new licensing
laws, The Foundry will not be in a position to book any
further DJs or other performers for the time being. This
unique venue has provided an excellent space for many
musicians, DJs, artists, poets and others to entertain an
open-minded and friendly crowd. The end of live
performances at The Foundry is a real loss to the London
music scene and will surely be missed by all who have
performed there and also by those who have walked into
this bar to be confronted with constantly engaging,
exciting and forward-thinking events. A big thanks to
Jonathan @ The Foundry for allowing me the space to host
regular electronica nights Rehabilitation and disco_r.dance with my DJ
buddy, Dancon1, the chance to spin some funky tunes with
Big Ears at FNUK and the tolerance to allow a
few ageing punks to air their teenage record collections
at PNUK!
